Entries must be authenticated with newspaper/program/magazine articles. Dates are important. NO MATERIAL WILL BE RETURNED SO PLEASE DON'T SEND ORIGINAL MATERIAL. Nominations who are not selected during this year will be kept in a file for future consideration.

Minumum entries do not guarantee induction, just consideration.

People/parents/fans/coaches/schools/communities may nominate as many different people as they believe are worthy for consideration.

MINIMUM ENTRY LEVELS FOR ATHLETES:

• Must be out of high school at least TEN (10) years
• Primary consideration focuses on accomplishments in the OVAC; however, college and professional accomplishments will enhance the athlete's resume

BASEBALL: Multiple First Team All-OVAC and/or All-State honors
BASKETBALL: Multiple First Team All-OVAC and/or All-State honors
CHEERING: Performance on multiple OVAC and/or State championship teams
CROSS COUNTRY: Multiple individual OVAC and/or State championships
FOOTBALL: Multiple First Team All-OVAC and/or All-State honors
GOLF: Multiple individual OVAC and/or State championships
SOCCER: Multiple First Team All-OVAC and/or All-State honors
SOFTBALL: Multiple First Team All-OVAC and/or All-State honors
SWIMMING: Multiple individual OVAC and/or State championships
TENNIS: Multiple individual OVAC and/or State championships
TRACK: Multiple individual OVAC and/or State championships
VOLLEYBALL: Multiple First Team All-OVAC and/or All-State honors
WRESTLING: Multiple individual OVAC and/or State championships

MINIMUM ENTRY LEVELS FOR COACHES:

• Cannot be inducted until retired or deceased
• Only wins achieved at OVAC schools count in totals

BASEBALL: 250 wins;
BASKETBALL: 250 wins;
CHEERING: 10 OVAC titles;
CROSS COUNTRY: 10 OVAC titles;
FOOTBALL: 125 wins;
GOLF: 10 OVAC titles;
SOCCER: 125 wins;
SOFTBALL: 250 wins;
SWIMMING: 10 OVAC titles;
TENNIS: 10 OVAC titles;
TRACK: 10 OVAC titles;
VOLLEYBALL: 250 wins;
WRESTLING: 5 OVAC class tournament titles.

MINIMUM ENTRY LEVELS FOR OFFICIALS:

• Cannot be considered until retired or deceased
• 25 years of service to OVAC.

MINIMUM ENTRY LEVELS FOR MEDIA:

• Can be considered anytime
• 25 years of service to OVAC
• Contributions to the OVAC

MINIMUM ENTRY LEVELS FOR OVAC FAMILY:

• Executive Board, officers, meet directors, etc.
• Open-ended

MINIMUM ENTRY LEVELS FOR CONTRIBUTORS (sponsors, boosters, etc.):

• Includes people who have financially backed Conference as well as people who have been successful in the college/pro ranks but don't meet the criteria in other categories
• Open-ended
